New!! The Tel Aviv GLTA Tournament has just been born. Madpoint, the LGTB tennis club behind the Madrid Tennis Open, and the City Hall of Tel Aviv are proud to announce the first ever GLTA tournament to be euanized in the Middle East.
Tel Aviv, known from having one of the most vibrant and open gay scenes in the world is now adding another attraction to its list with the celebration of this championship that will be taking place from the 31st of March to the 2sd of April at the National Sports Center, home of the Israel Olympic Committee.
For this maiden edition of the tournament we will be aiming at offering an incredible GLTA tennis experience for no more than 90-100 players so…hurry up and register soon!!! Registration will open the 15h of March at 6PM Central European Time.
Thanks to the support of the Tel Aviv City Hall we are delighted to announce a quite reduced registration fee: 75 euros for tennis (it doesnt matter if you play just singles or doubles or both) plus an additional 25 euros for the thursday dinner.
The city has a reputation of not having cheap accomodation but the Tel Aviv Tennis Open 2016 has reached a very good accord with the Arcadia chain who will be offering a great discount in two hotels right in the gay area, just a few minutes away from the beach and with great connection to the bus lines that takes directly to the tennis venue in around a 30 minutes ride. The Arcadia Tower Hotel (120 euros for a double room in bed and breakfast regime) and the Deborah Hotel (100 euros, double bedroom and bed and breakfast). Please note that no hosted housing service will be avaible in this tournament.
Tournament fees:
75 euros per tennis (unique fee, it doesnt matter how many events you play, singles and doubles or just singles or doubles)
25 addtional euros for party+dinner
